Day 1 : KYOTO - TAKAYAMA |
Assembly at New Miyako Hotel at 10:00 a.m. (no pick-up service).
Board a Shinkansen for Nagoya. Transfer to a limited express for Takayama, an ancient and tranquil city called "Little Kyoto".
Afternoon, Takayama walking tour visiting Yatai Kaikan Hall, where colofully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed, Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum, formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage, and Kami Sannomachi street, which preserve traditional Japanese wooden houses.Overnight at Hida Hotel Plaza.

Day 2 : TAKAYAMA - SHIRAKAWAGO - KANAZAWA |
Visit the famous mornig market of Takayama. Scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shogawa river to Shirakawago, designated as World Heritage. Its highlights are unique structures called Gassho- Zukuri, or joined-hands farmhouses. Then visit Gokayama, another World Heritage village,where you can experience making traditional Japanese paper. Tour continues to Kanazawa. |

Morning sightseeing in Kanazawa, visiting Kenroku Garden, one of Japan's three most beautiful gardens, Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln, and stroll throughNagamachi Samurai house district.
Afternoon, limited -express to Kyoto leaving around 2:20p.m.
Arrival at Kyoto around 4:20p.m. Drop-off service to hotel in Kyoto around 5:20p.m.
